This so fun to type.....I really should put this down somewhere so its easier to post.....
Guess I'll do it now....
If ya know anything about V-Twin carburetion, go here: Jetting 101

Jetting 101 is the complete how AND why....
For all the others.....just a quick "how"
Your bike ran fine, and your question begins like "I just changed my (exhaust, air box, both, etc.)
SHOULD I REJET?"
Jetting is a sub-function of TUNING....TUNING is done with the mixture screw...
The mixture screw will make SMALL adjustments to your A/F ratio....from closed (clearly this is not right...) to about 3 and 1/2 turns out or so....(starts getting sketchy....)
If one cannot properly tune a WARM engine with the mixture screw, then you need to decide if the mixture is clearly too lean or too rich......
I always suggest that if it's acting lean, that's a good place to start...
With a warm engine, you can identify a lean condition with a blip of the throttle...
If it hangs a bit high before settling down to idle, its too lean....richen it a 1/4 turn at a time till that stops, and you're good to go....
If ya can't get happy with that, now let's look at the pilot jet...
If you're generally way out near 3 and 1/2 turns, and still too lean.....go to a LARGER pilot jet, and close down the mixture screw to about 1 and 1/2 turns......tune again....
If you're generally in around a turn or less, and still too rich.....go to a SMALLER pilot jet, and close down the mixture screw to about 1 and 1/2 turns......tune again....
Now, you're thinkin...hey, I ain't no dummy....I could do this! But where is that damned mixture screw? I don't even SEE one....
Now go here.....Maurice and Chuck's Instructions with photos......

Maurice Riggins is a member and one of the true "carb gurus"
I really hope this helps someone.....
Remember, this is for dummies.....like me....with stock (more or less) bikes...
